Junior Accountant (Part-Time)

Department:	Accounting
Location:	Poughkeepsie, NY

Position Summary:

The Junior Accountant is responsible for performing all functions of the bank�s Accounts Payable (AP) area.

Essential Job Functions:

Review and input of vendor invoices
Weekly ACH and check processing
Scanning of invoices and posting sheets
Form W-9 maintenance and year-end issuance of 1099 forms to the IRS and vendors
Reconciles simple ledgers, posts information, processes payments and compiles segments of
monthly closings, reports, etc.
Communicates with other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
The Junior Accountant will be called upon to perform department backup functions, assist other departments and follow Bank policies and procedures.
Positive contribution in a team environment.

Education & Experience:

HS diploma or AS degree in accounting. 1-year related experience.

Salary Ranges: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
