Financial Advisor

Department: Rhinebeck Asset Management
Location: Orange County, NY

The primary function of a Financial Advisor is to help clients identify and achieve their financial goals. You will have access to a wide range of financial products and services to assist clients in developing sound, long-term investment strategies. Your success will be driven by your ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of prospective clients and develop relationships.
  • Analyze clients' financial information to determine strategies, products, and services to meet their financial objectives.
  • Educate clients about financial products, services, and strategies, offering detailed information.
  • Continuously build and maintain a strong client base, keeping client plans up-to-date while acquiring new clients.
  • Regularly reach out to clients to assess changes in their financial status and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Provide objective financial guidance and customized investment strategies tailored to individual client needs.
  • Ensure high-quality client service and satisfaction.
  • Contribute positively to the team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial services role.
  • Series 7, 63, 65, or 66 licenses and Life/Accident & Health Insurance license are required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Compensation:

  • $35k base salary, plus commission.
