Financial Advisor

Department: Rhinebeck Asset Management
Location: Montgomery, NY

The primary function of a Financial Advisor is to help clients identify and achieve their financial goals. In this role, you will have access to an array of financial products and services to help clients develop a sound, long-term investment strategy. You will work to develop relationships with existing and prospective clients, establishing a positive rapport with clients at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline of prospects
  • Analyze financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies, products and services to help clients meet their financial objectives.
  • Provide information/education to clients about the purpose and details of financial products, services and strategies.
  • Build and maintain client base, keep client plans up-to-date and acquire new clients on an ongoing basis.
  • Contact clients periodically to determine if there have been changes in their financial status.
  • Provide knowledgeable, objective financial guidance and customized strategies.
  • Deliver high quality client service.
  • Positive contribution in a team environment.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience
  • Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 and Life/Accident & Health Insurance license required
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Salary Range: $35k plus commission
